You know, I never did get around to posting other ones. I only ever did the one. And I’ve had several styles since then. Including the goatee, the “Paul, Sr.” Fu Manchu, and now the beard minus moustache and soul patch. But I keep forgetting to take pictures. Perhaps it’s that I actually hate taking pictures of myself (so why are there so many?!) and it’s a pain to edit the pics and then transport them via flashdrive to this computer to upload. Perhaps diagrams are best? But that defeats the purpose. Diagrams can be had anywhere. Well, whatever. Maybe I’ll take a picture of my horrendous face and put it online, forcing complete strangers to painfully gaze upon my visage. That’ll teach ‘em.
And why do my web stats say that people got to my site by the search term “sasha cohen legs”…? I don’t remember anything along those lines. How could such a search lead to my site? I mean, now that I’m mentioning it, it could, but before now, how was that possible. Not that I don’t have an appreciation of such legs, but still, I never mentioned it on my site. Seriously.

By the by, in case you haven’t noticed, I’ve set up a Futurama Wiki, which goes by the name of “The Infosphere”. Thanks mostly to the guy who calls himself “Gopher,” it’s coming along quite nicely. I thought it was the first Futurama Wiki out there. It wasn’t. But now it’s the biggest (and most comprehensive).
So, if you ever come to this side of my site: Thanks, Gopher.
Anyone who’s not Gopher would do well to click the link. Before I eat your firstborn (except you, Mom — I’m not eating myself).

I’ve added two new sites to the front page. And rewrote the css to make adding new things easier. Not that I can think of anything I’ll ever want to add. But just in case.
Comments on the design of the front page, as well as the sites, are welcome. Except the photos one. I only do the photos. The way it looks is just the default of the Gallery thingy. Oh, same with the Futurama one, too, I guess. Default stuff. I guess someday I’ll get around to styling this area. Unstyled indeed.

Well, as you can see on the front page, Barracks Adventures is back and awesomer than ever. Sorry it took so long since the last issue, but I’ll be trying to get one out per month now. At least.
A quote from my post on Barracks Network:
Finally.
I’m hoping I can get these going at least one per month. So far, I’m doing pretty good with a score of one out of one.
Hope you like. Unfortunately, twenty panels is about as long as I can get before needing to stop (the longest one so far is 22, I think) — but I couldn’t have finished this one in two or three more panels, so I had to do a continuation again. Luckily, you won’t have to wait as long. There’s about to be tons more action and awesomeness.
I’ve re-done the “Back Issues” page, to divide them into “Volumes” — a yearly grouping (mainly cuz it’s January…) — but also to give a bonus zero issue. Most of you have seen it, but some might not have. It’s nothing special, really, but maybe sentimental or historical…
There you go.
Hope everyone likes it.
Also, there’s a new page, the only one in the right column under “Pages” — it lets you know what I’m up to. I may end up reviewing stuff, too. But probably not.

Here’s the first (and maybe last) installment of “Facial Stylings,” in which I’ll take requests and attempt to recreate various beard and moustache styles. For example, you could request the Fu Manchu, the Goatee, or the Soul Patch, and I’ll do it and post pictures.
Why? you ask. Because, my facial hair grows at a freakish rate, and I can do whatever I want with it, knowing that it’ll only take a week to repair itself. And why not?
So, to get things started, I’ll start with a simple one:

“The Porn Star” or “The State Trooper”
Can’t decide which to call this one. So, go ahead and make requests, and if they’re creative enough, I might pick them and feature them in future Facial Stylings.

No, not A/R/I. Not yet.
But I finally redesigned the Overt Ops front page. I’m not happy with the little thumbnail-type images, so I’ll be making new ones soon. And I’m going to need to use positioning to get the hover effects, instead of loading an entirely new image–to prevent the flash before it loads. Not to mention the need to flesh out the text.
And now, you can get to the Writings section without being directly linked from here (like I just did). Eventually I’ll get a Photography section up as well.
(As an aside, neither of those sites look very good in ie–but they are functional.)
Enjoy.

I can’t decide if I should transfer some of the content from my last blog, or maybe summarize it, or just leave it in the digital æther.
Is my road to truckering important enough to preserve? The photos are mostly going to get saved and get their own section, eventually, so that’s not an issue. A non-issue, if you will.
Just when I’ve gotten used to word processors again, where I just push enter once, I have to do this, where I must push it twice. If I push it once, it just puts in the <br /> tag instead of creating a new paragraph. Oh well, I’ll get used to it. Otherwise, the interface is way more better than hand-editing all that crap that I had to do before. Probably the best parts are the auotmatic archiving and rssing. It’s nice not to have to do those by hand.
By the way, in case anyone reading this has a Nintendo DS and Mario Kart DS, my friend code is as follows: 347953 559127 — Going under the name “Buddy13″ (imagine that!). If indeed you do have Mario Kart, feel free to leave your friend code in the comments.
