Abort / Retry / Ignore

I have nothing to say. I’m just checking in so you know I’m still around. Your comments are like claps for Tinkerbell. I can’t believe anyone still even reads this thing, what with the no updates and the no relevant content when there are updates.

I’ve been getting some writing done and I’ve finally finished chapter five of Gathered Flowers. And I went back and revised the first four to include some elemental changes I’ve made, and to make part one fit better into the rest of them, as well as finally giving that boy a name. But don’t bother checking the Writings area, since I haven’t updated the HTML yet. That’ll probably be a while. Although, I’m off tomorrow, so I might work on that. It’s harder to change text documents into HTML now that I don’t have Dreamweaver installed. Now I have to paste it raw and use a lot of find/replace to clean it up. But anyone interested in the PDF’s of the new versions, let me know (you won’t) and I’ll send them via email.

I’ve also started working on Ship, though I seem to have more fun creating the extraneous material than actually writing the story. Rendering planets, deriving maps from the renders, making ship diagrams, alien languages, mockups of Ship terminal OS’s… I’m weird. Just write the damn thing, right?

And now I’m off, to avenge the… um… thing?
