Good news: I got a job. I’ll be working three days a week delivering eggs from a local farm to various stores around the Denver area. It’s a local job, so I won’t be spending the night away from home.
Bad news: My wife was in an accident. She’s fine, Diego’s fine, car’s totalled. Wife might have a little whiplash and she’s a bit weird from the meds they gave her, but she’s good. Seatbelts and carseats save lives.

Good to hear the wife and little Buddy are okay man. Does your insurance cover the car?
And btw, do you still drive a truck delivering those eggs? Man that has got to be one of the most awesome jobs out there. I mean 3 times a week, driver around, pick up eggs, drive around some more, deliver eggs, drive home. Awesome.

We didn’t have collision coverage on the car, so we’re out a car and we get no money from it. Double-bummer!
And yes, I’m driving a truck. Today I went to the egg farm and picked up several hundred thousand eggs, and took them to the processing dealy-place, and later I’ll take those eggs to the CostCo places around the Denver area…

I’m glad they’re OK. Who was at fault? If it was the other person, then you should be able to get some money from their insurance to get another car…although, I’m sure you know that, what with your mom being in the insurance business and all. Sounds like a nasty accident. It’s lucky that your family is unharmed.
Congratulations on the new job! I’m so happy for you. I really hope you like the work you’re doing.

Oh my, I’m so glad they weren’t injured.
Seat belts and car seats, yes, there’s no excuse not to be responsible with them.
=S I hope you gave them both much comfort. How did it happen? Tell us more?

We’re not sure how it happened. But we’re pretty sure my wife ran the red light. She hit a left-turner and then SMOOSH!
I wish I had my camera here so I could upload the pics…
