Okay, now I’m pissed. Anyone tried to cancel a Napster account? I suggest that you never sign up in the first place. They deliberately make it difficult for you to cancel. They want your money, even if they have to force you into giving it to them.
How do you sign up for Napster? Online, right? How do you cancel? Well, you go to your account status, and there, in tiny print, is a line that says “(Downgrading to Napster Light will cancel your subscription)” — Okay, good. I’ll do that. *click*

What? Oh, a cancellation warning. Wait… what’s this? Only a back button. How do you do the actual cancelling? You have to call them!
I signed up online, why can’t I cancel the same way?!
I hate people.

No, not A/R/I. Not yet.
But I finally redesigned the Overt Ops front page. I’m not happy with the little thumbnail-type images, so I’ll be making new ones soon. And I’m going to need to use positioning to get the hover effects, instead of loading an entirely new image–to prevent the flash before it loads. Not to mention the need to flesh out the text.
And now, you can get to the Writings section without being directly linked from here (like I just did). Eventually I’ll get a Photography section up as well.
(As an aside, neither of those sites look very good in ie–but they are functional.)
Enjoy.

I just saw the Star Wars Kid in an episode of American Dad on Adult Swim. It cracked me up.
Yet another random post. I’ll have something more… post… ish.

Everyone on the internet misspells “definitely.”

I won’t bother naming all the holidays that occur around this time of year, but to my two readers (apparently Beo and my own mother), have a good Whatever!
To anyone else that happens by, same to you. I hope you aren’t turned away by my lack of posts and lack of focus. And lack of original style–I’m working on that.

I took a quiz. But what I won’t take is responsibility for the code that follows. It’s their code, not mine.
You Should Get a PhD in Liberal Arts (like political science, literature, or philosophy)
You’re a great thinker and a true philosopher.
You’d make a talented professor or writer.
So, there you go. I’m a dork. Professor is exactly what I’d like to do. Someday.
And another, just for fun:
Your Personality Profile
You are pure, moral, and adaptable.
You tend to blend into your surroundings.
Shy on the outside, you’re outspoken to your friends. You believe that you live a virtuous life…
And you tend to judge others with a harsh eye.
As a result, people tend to crave your approval.
Okay, no more. Seriously. Those things are messing up my code validation. Not that I couldn’t fix them. I just don’t want to.

I can’t decide if I should transfer some of the content from my last blog, or maybe summarize it, or just leave it in the digital æther.
Is my road to truckering important enough to preserve? The photos are mostly going to get saved and get their own section, eventually, so that’s not an issue. A non-issue, if you will.
Just when I’ve gotten used to word processors again, where I just push enter once, I have to do this, where I must push it twice. If I push it once, it just puts in the <br /> tag instead of creating a new paragraph. Oh well, I’ll get used to it. Otherwise, the interface is way more better than hand-editing all that crap that I had to do before. Probably the best parts are the auotmatic archiving and rssing. It’s nice not to have to do those by hand.
By the way, in case anyone reading this has a Nintendo DS and Mario Kart DS, my friend code is as follows: 347953 559127 — Going under the name “Buddy13″ (imagine that!). If indeed you do have Mario Kart, feel free to leave your friend code in the comments.

My truck broke and I’ve been stuck in this hotel for nearly a week. They only just ordered the parts, which may arrive today, or Monday.
Until recently, the hotel’s wireless has been broken. But now it’s fixed.
I got bored and decided to finally try and work on my blog-thing. I hate that word. Anyway, what you see is not the final style (it is, in fact, the default style), but it’s better than the no-style I’ve got so far. When I get home I may have an easier time working on that and finishing it up, but for now, this not-æsthetically-displeasing style will suffice.
Feel free to comment. Or don’t. Either way.
